As Halloween 2012 rolls around, it's ghoul to look back and see last year's pumpkin graveyard (resides on 11 acres of woods/pasture in remote Peytonsville, TN). All of the Halloween swag from each year ends up out here in November (followed by old Christmas trees in January). For a couple of years we have documented the pumpkins "going back to the earth".
In 2012 we finally saw several pumpkin plants take off along with a few random corn stalks, but the intense heat of Summer 2012 did away with any chance of pumpkins making it til fall.
