I snapped a pic of this amazing shot (framed photo) of The Bride of Frankenstein premier at the Omaha Orpheum Theater. Probably originally snapped in early 1936, the photo was displayed in a restaurant in the old town section of Omaha.
Close examination reveals that they really did it up with great props etc. If you think about it - the inconic Karloff Frankenstein imagery was relatively still in its most juvenile stages. What a profound effect that imagery has had on Monster Kid Culture..
Wish they would do up The Franklin Theater like this and show some oldie faves!
