This was my short-lived, thoroughly rained-out contribution to the Great Pumpkin Project. Like an idiot I forgot my tripod for night shooting so all I procured was a couple of cellphone snaps.
Went back a second night with a new candle and tripod and someone had smashed him into 100 pieces.
This is just off the square, downtown Franklin on an always spooky no-car stretch of road.
Lots of cars pass by this at night so I suspect it probably caught a few random eyeballs during it's brief life..

Looking Back at Ireland/UK Trip

Stopped by the Flickr page and there were those pics from our trip to Ireland and England earlier this year. The graveyard photos are Highgate Cemetery, where so many Hammer Dracula scenes were filmed. Also featured is Bray Studios and Black Park - home of Hammer Horror as well as The Oakley Court aka Frankenfurter Castle, also a Hammer haunt..

Halloween Approaches

Started early this year.. Some minor bits to give those pumpkins a little company.

Vine-Man and Old School Orange Lights at Dusk

Only at dusk is it possible to get doorway lighting effects and the man-in-the-vines in one shot.
Once we start placing spot lights he'll be featured a bit more..

Dr. Gangrene 2015 Halloween PSA filmed at Spooky Franklin!

This Dr. Gangrene PSA was filmed a few weeks back by director Cameron McCasland and his team here at the Spooky Franklin house! We weren't starting decorations just yet so a few quick props were grabbed for the shoot. Maybe they'll come back and film in deep October!
Should be running on Nashville TV and abroad in the coming days...
